Casey Tebo is an *Emmy Award winning director, who like many of his idols, (Demme, Soderberg) started his directing career in live music, and eventually made the switch to music videos and feature films. His most recent work, was writing and directing the dark comedy indie thriller "Happy Birthday" (2016).

Casey started out directing and designing shows, doing hundreds of live concerts for artists ranging from Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Judas Priest, Velvet Revolver, Run DMC, Jennifer Hudson, Sarah McGlaghlin and more.

He has directed live broadcast events for Disney/ESPN, NFL, and MTV including segmen ts on VH1's "Fashion Rocks", American Idol, ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve" and Hard Rock Cafe's "London Calling"

In 2012 Tebo went to Japan with rock legends Aerosmith after the Fukushima Nuclear disaster, with no intent on making a film, and four months later, ended up with the critically acclaimed “Aerosmith: Rock for the Rising Sun.

The video chronicles the band's 2011 tour of Japan in the wake of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck the country earlier that year. In between performances from various concerts the band performed there, the DVD includes documentary footage of the band as they travel the country and interact with fans.

Rock for the Rising Sun debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Music Videos chart. The release was screened in select theaters in October 2013.

In 2015 Tebo’s second concert film, ”Black Veil Brides: Alive and Burning” will be released through Universal Entertainment.
